I'm going to place my third Tonic video on hold for a day so I can let you know about some amazing Blog Candy with an amazing heartfelt story attached.
Cammie has gone way above and beyond with support for the Alzheimer's Association and you will want to be a part of it. Plus for participating in this you will be eligible for Blog Candy that's unbelievable. Over $800 worth of merchandise is being given away in one swoop. Just go to Cammie's Blog and read on.
As you remember I went to a wedding yesterday on the Coast of Maine to where one of our famous Lighthouses is located, Pemaquid Lighthouse. The scenery there is amazing and the rocks that have been sculpted from years of the ocean waters flowing over them are breathtaking. I tried to get some photos to share with you. And I want to add this little caveat, I did this all while wearing 2 1/2 inch heals, climbing the rocks, camera in hand - got the picture. Oh and this is important the whole time my friend is yelling watch out, be careful, please don't fall. Then all I hear is laughter as I turn around and she is on her butt! She fell. Oh she's a card! So here is how I want to tie in my photos and be a part of Cammie's Alzheimer's caretakers dream.
And what's more calming then beautiful photos of the Coast of Maine (Of course I'm slightly prejudice).
So I created a photo card:
This is a photo of the Light Keeper's home at Pemaquid. Isn't it quaint? I sued a simple thank you and thought I could add a more heartfelt greeting on the inside when it gets mailed. The care takers of our elderly population are special and there are not enough of them. So indeed they deserve our special thanks for the love and care they give to our older people.
Here are some more photos from the wedding day at Pemaquid.
A few from in front of the light house looking out to my right.
A view to the far right. Can you see the private homes tucked in? What views they must have!
A view from right in front of the Light House.
The light house from down on the rocks looking up. (In heels - remember the heels)
There are just so many other amazing photos that I could share with you, but you really have to see it in real life. Or go to the official web site
And of course one quick photo of the wedding ceremony from the side lines.
So don't forget to go to Cammie's blog and send a card to a caregiver today. Enjoy and have an awesome day!
