Glitz, Glitter and all that shines

Hi, Does it seems as if the days are too short lately? Oh yeah! Well same here, as I am furiously trying to finish up another Tonic Punch video I keep finding more neat things that these punches and the board can do. Those are all good things. What's bad about it? trying to decide what parts go into the next video and being limited to 9 minutes of recording time. So that's my good dilemma at the moment.

So until my next cinema release I want to share a product review with you.

I want to give you my thoughts on glitter. Powder Keg Glitz glitter, that is. I know over the years we've all bought and probably currently own more glitter than we care to admit. And as far as glitters go I always felt they were all pretty equal. That is until I started playing with this glitter. Here are my reasons why and yes there will be a project at the end. Oh and by the way I compared this against 6 other glitters that are currently available in stores today.

1. It comes in 48 amazing colors.
2. The price point is fantastic, only $3.25 for a 1/2 oz jar (that's a lot of glitter!)
3. Yes, it is micro fine, but it is so smooth it actually feels soft to the touch. Absolutely no grit!
4. Very little static with it. And if you rub your tidy tray or catch paper with an embossing buddy then getting it back into the pot is super easy!
5. The pots, open easy and have a wide mouth top for easy pouring and an easy return to the container with little to no mess. I know I have some of those "other" glitters that come in small jars and I waste more trying to get it back into the bottle than I actually used! Believe it or not this is a huge factor for me. Products must have an what I call "ease of use" to them to even qualify to get onto my design area or in my store. If it's frustrating to use - how often will you truly go looking for it to use it?
6. Works great with any stencil, stamp, inside of glass ornaments, on cards, scrapbook pages. Basically there's nothing I can't think of that it wouldn't work with.
7. These colors are hand mixed in the owners workshop. (Makes her sound like Santa doesn't it?) Totally impressive!
8. And personally I love the personal attention that I get from them. Their customer service is fantastic!
9. Did I tell you it came in 48 different colors?
10. And my top reason it is bright and glitzy BLING!

So let me share a card with you that uses 9 colors of this amazing glitter. And I wish I could take credit for it but it comes from the owner herself. I do have other projects but those will be in future posts cause they are part of other techniques.
